LOCAL HISTORY & SITES

I love this beautiful buttressed wall and stone steps which is located on Downshill. I wonder about its purpose, the people who made it, the era it was built in. It doesn't seem to match any of the other walls i've seen around the country - I wonder now if it is the lost Church of Glangrow? It attests to the ancient importance of our beautiful locality.
